Plans for 2013

Hello Fellow Trail Enthusiasts,
The Centennial Trail Coalition of Snohomish County (CTCSC) is planning another year of promoting long distance trails for pedestrians, bicycle riders, and equestrian users.

Help us by continuing to share your ideas with us and continue to join us as a member for as little is $8 per year.

We will continue to have our quarterly public meetings where we invite you via this web page and with our email list to join us and meet with representatives from Snohomish County Parks  and share ideas, learn what's new in the plans, and hear about the history and stories of the trails we are promoting.

This year we will be helping to fund two projects on the Whitehorse Trail: Railings for "The Tin Bridge" at the first Stillaguamish crossing east of the Centennial Trail, and Signs for the parking facility that is being planned at the Darrington end of the Whitehorse Trail.

Our members continue to be active promoting the development of The Centennial-Snoqualmie Trail and opening more sections of the Whitehorse Trail.  We were successful this past year in attaining a grant from the Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians, and we will continue to pursue those types of projects.

We have added a domain to our communication capacity: www.snocotrails.org and we will be adding Paypal as a way that people can pay membership or buy T-Shirts, Bicycle Jerseys, and memorabilia.

You can use the links in our sidebar to follow this web page or join our email list by contacting our secretary: Secretary@snocotrails.org.

Thanks for the continued support, we look forward to hearing from you in 2013.

  1. Today I set up a Facebook page for the Centennial Trail at; https://www.facebook.com/pages/Centennial-Trail-Coalition-of-Snohomish-County/185907801551667

Facebook has become such a huge resource, it might help promote membership & donations too, besides news.
