New and Improved Whitehorse Trailhead in Darrington

The Whitehorse Trail in Darrington has a new and improved parking space.  Thanks to coordinating and planning efforts by CTCSC and the Town of Darrington, there is now a much improved space for people wanting to explore the trail from Darrington.  CTCSC has also provided signs to add to the trailhead and to place along Highway 530 so that people can find the trailhead more readily.

             

                           We still need to add the  sign.

The long term plan for this trailhead will also include a space for stock users.  As of now, the Town of Darrington is clearing brush along the right-of-way parallel  with Railroad Ave which allows room for larger vehicles.  The future plans will include more facilities.
