"Members and friends of the coalition may be thinking, "We're done now, we can kick back." The public thinks the trail is done. And founding members of the Snohomish-Arlington Trail Coalition in the 1980s, like the Housewives from Hell who campaigned for the trail from the beginning, may consider their mission complete.
But the director of Snohomish County Parks, Tom Teigen, wants the coalition to continue its work. He attended a board meeting of the trail coalition Oct. 17 to encourage them to continue their efforts."  Read More


Calling all trail users
The Trail Coalition of Snohomish County seeks input from members, friends, trail users and residents on the future of the coalition. The coalition’s regular membership meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 at the Stilly Conference Room, at the city of Arlington’s water department, near Haller Park, south of the Stillaguamish River.
Topics for discussion include: 
• Elections – new officers and board members are needed for 2014
• Potential improvements on Whitehorse Trail
• Potential extension of trail from Snohomish to Monroe
• Extension of CT from Snohomish to Bothell
• Updates from Snohomish County Parks officials
